Complete gut and renovation of Madison Cottage. Started first week of March 2018. Approximate renovation time: 10 weeks.
Home will have 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and an open concept kitchen, living room & sunroom. Small addition in rear of house taken down and rebuilt adding more living space.
Week of March 31, 2018 - Framing Stage
Week of April 7, 2018 - Roofing, siding and new foundation for addition in rear of house
Week of April 14, 2018 - Work continues on job although the boss was called away to welcome his newest family member, his granddaughter. Forms poured, siding and windows started, tub installed.
Week of April 30, 2018 - Foundation in, framing of addition can now continue after a week of bad weather. Roofline and rafter tails on addition had to be matched to existing roofline which was an inch different. Plumbing almost all roughed in, electrical starting this week.
Week of May 21, 2018 - Hardwood floors installed. Plumbing & Electrical finished. Ready for insulation and sheetrock. Exterior siding being finished and deck off the back of the addition started.
Week of May 28, 2018 - Insulation and sheetrock. Now it's on the home stretch!
Week of June 4, 2018 - Taped, painted, deck completed!
Sunday, June 10, 2018 - Home stretch, 7 days a week.... Kitchen install, trim
Week of June 18, 2018 - Floors finished, tiling bathrooms, finishing kitchen
Week of June 25, 2018 - Bathrooms tiled, miscellaneous finishes, almost done and ready for next job around the corner!
